The problem is many to have a licence so that they have to pay police and local authorities in order to stay in business. However Indian street food vendors lives are insecure as they are routinely harassed for weekly bribes called “hafta” in Indian parlance.
Fact is when it comes to street food, India is one proud nation where every state – every city has its own specialty. Our wide varieties of scrumptious, quick and cheap street food are known for giving hunger pangs.
