Panama People

I think this street photograph shows a cimarron people. The Cimarrons or Cimarrones in Panama, were enslaved Africans who had escaped from their Spanish masters and lived together as outlaws. The term Cimarron means “runaway slave” in Spanish. But I am not sure – picture was taken in Panama City in 2003.

Tightrope Walker Falls

Tightrope walking normally means walking along a rope, sometimes also at a great height. Here there was no great height or the Niagara falls involved (no death neither just a little accident). Taken in Mexico City at the Day of Our Lady of Guadalupe.
